As the County’s Grants Administrator, Chesca has been part of the team that secured more than $67 million in grant funding across 107 projects, bringing outside dollars home to address critical needs without placing additional burden on local taxpayers. One example is the County’s septic tank replacement program, a project essential to protecting clean water and public health. Through careful oversight, disciplined budgeting, and smart management, Chesca helped ensure the County stretched those funds further than planned, replacing two additional septic systems beyond what was originally budgeted. Chesca is committed to making sure San Patricio County continues to invest wisely, spend responsibly, and get the maximum return for the people who trust their government to be good stewards of their hard-earned money.
